    99 Mustang options

    I was wanting to run a small block chevy in my 99 mustang but need to know what kind of headers i needed, and if there was any modifcation need to do to the transmision tunnel if i use a TH350 and if you offer a transcrossmember for the TH350 and would i have to modify the firewall for the distributor???  it will be a 23 degree heads. thanks Joe

    Lemons Headers (805)239-8998 builds custom headers to match your specific engine combo. Kooks (800)349-9193 also has race headers for these aplications. As for the Trans tunnel clearance for the shifter cable is the only mod needed which can be made with a hammer real easily. MU-4030 part# for K-member and MU-7060 for trans crossmember.

    is the firewall gonna be a issue with the distrubtor , also this wont be a performance thing its gonna be for a show car also what kind of oil pan can i use just a plan sbc out of a car or truck work better. Also are you guys looking for anyore distrubtors in the midwest, I run custom shop and we have done several race cars to but mostly chevrolets. If so who do i need to contact and what info do you need i can fax you a business liscense or what ever you need. THanks

    We set the motor to clear the firewall by aprox.3/4" with a small cap or pointstyle cap. Most rear sump pan for a sbc. and you can also run shorty headers for a 88-95 chevy truck to cut some cost. As for dealer info call 1-800-877-7233
