I have a complete AJE kit for my gen 1 lighting. My first question is are the struts on my kit the same as the Mustang struts (struts listed on the products page one AJE.com)? I believe mine are the 7" travel struts. I finally got my motor and trans in and tried to adjust the ride height. To get the front end down as far as I need it (main reason for getting the kit) I bottom the struts out to get there (well 1/2" up from being bottomed out. That leaves me 6-1/2" of upward travel and only 1/2" of downward travel (which isn't acceptable) Are there shorter struts available for this. I think I need something about 2" shorter.
In this pict you can see how the strut is almost bottomed out. I need the A arm to be level.
